Beginning to think maybe Twitter and celebrities don’t mix.
This time IJR is reporting that B-list actor, Tom Arnold, took to Twitter to assert he plans to show up at 12-year-old Barron Trump’s New York school and frighten the first kid to be able to protest President Donald Trump’s immigration policies that were signed into law from the 90s by then-President Bill Clinton and employed with former President Barack Hussein Obama in 2014.
Way beyond sad & most in for these kids with @JuddApatow @FoxNews already hates me. Next is protesting Baron’s private school in addition to James & Lachlan Murdoch’s kids. This is precisely what I can do in order to end the abuse of those children. We’re going to make you uncomfortable
Dude, we could protest in The White House too. Also Melania takes him to college. We wish to have a word with her. If we see babies tomorrow we’re going to Kushners kids college. Don Jr’s children are already functioning at Hooters so we’ll demonstration there for lunch.
Arnold asserts that Cohen has some sort of dirt on Trump and that he and Arnold will release it soon.
Arnold is believed to now be prepping a Viceland investigative documentary series meant to dig up dirt and damaging records from President Donald Trump’s past. Proof Arnold says that he intends to use to”end” Trump’s political career.
“If Tom Arnold understands one thing, it is how to get attention. And that’s exactly what he is doing today, hyping his forthcoming TV series for Viceland, while stirring speculation about Michael Cohen’s allegiance to President Trump.
Arnold is a dedicated Trump critic. So eyebrows were raised when he tweeted an image of himself with Cohen on Thursday night — and when Cohen retweeted it. Cohen,” Trump’s longtime personal lawyer and”fixer,” is now under federal investigation.
In a string of interviews on Friday, Arnold hinted that Cohen confided in him and repeatedly suggested that Cohen is turning against Trump.
But there may be less here than meets the eye.
Arnold was talking with Brian Hiatt, a senior writer for Rolling Stone magazine.
“I took that image of them together.”
Impromptu’Fox & Friends’ interview caps President Trump’s rampant networking week
This lines up with what Cohen stated on Twitter Friday night:”This was a chance, public encounter in the hotel lobby where he asked to get a selfie.”
Arnold stated on CNN that he had been going to spend the weekend with Cohen, which prompted Cohen to tweet,”Not spending the weekend did not talk being on his own display nor did we discuss @POTUS.”
Later in the evening, Arnold admitted on MSNBC that he probably”oversold” the extent of his conversations with Cohen. However he insisted that the two men had weekend plans.
Arnold played on the cameras in their own interviews on CNN and MSNBC. 1 minute he had been chatty. The next moment he had been evasive. Occasionally he looked down the barrel of this lens mischievously, such as he was having fun. Other times he seemed nervous. Some wondered whether it was just a performance.
In the end, Arnold has been an actor for decades. In recent years he has also been a prolific tweeter. His complaint of Trump has been remarkably pointedby Hollywood standards.
Regardless, Arnold’s comments on Friday were clearly newsworthy — because he actually did have an experience with Cohen.
Report: Prosecutors subpoena National Enquirer documents in Michael Cohen investigation
On Friday afternoon Arnold told MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace that Cohen”knows Donald Trump doesn’t care about him.”
(Earlier this week, the Wall Street Journal reported that Cohen has complained about Trump not offering to cover his legal fees. CNN noted that”Cohen has voiced frustration that he isn’t getting help from Trump with his considerable legal penalties, according to a source familiar with the issue.”)
Later in the day on Friday, Arnold told CNN’s Poppy Harlow that Cohen is”working with America, he is on the good side.” Arnold added:”He is not working with Trump, let us put it like that.”
And he told MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell which Cohen told him”I’m with you”
But it remains to be seen if that is anything more than wishful thinking by Arnold.
From the interviews, Arnold also teased his forthcoming Viceland series. The tiny Vice-branded cable station could use some hit shows — so in May it ordered eight episodes of”The Hunt for the Trump Tapes with Tom Arnold.”
Vice explained the show would accompany Arnold”as he uses his network of connections” to undercover incriminating Trump-related tapes.
For years there’s been chatter about potential material in the record of”The Apprentice” that may embarrass or shame the former host.
On CNN, Harlow asked him,”Have you got any tapes of the president the public is not currently aware of?”
Yes,” he explained,”we have a good deal of tapes.”
On MSNBC,” Arnold said that Cohen will be the subject of one of the episodes. But Cohen has not given him an actual interview.
So viewers may have to wait until September to see if Arnold is bluffing. And that’s how he and Viceland enjoy it.”
Now I am beginning to fully understand why Roseanne Barr kicked this man to the curb. Coincidently that movie came out during his 4-year long union to Roseanne.
